A practical guide based on Angela's and other's experience of caring for people with dementia - as well as looking after themselves.
NZ's population (and the world's) is ageing spectacularly. Currently, 40,700 New Zealanders have dementia. This is expected to treble by 2050 when today's children are adults with their own families . The Health Minister, Tony Ryall, describes it as a dementia epidemic, which NZ needs to be better prepared for.
This volume Includes stories from the people involved and views from those who themselves have dementia.
